Sketch Challenge

I love this Chickadee image that I found online.  The Chickadee is the state bird for both Maine and Massachusetts.  I was born and grew up in Maine, and now live in Massachusetts for the past eighteen years.
I printed the image on craft paper and colored him with chalk pencils.  This card is for the sketch challenge at The Paper Players.
A lot of texture going on with my card, plus the neutral tones that I love working with.  Thanks for the sketch challenge, ladies. I will also enter this on the Pile It On challenge and The Corrosive Challenge.

    I agree...this is a work of ART. Do you have a tutorial or instructions on HOW to achieve this amazing texture with your chalk (and pencil???) medium? It was a Joy to see this little piece of artistic talent! ♥
